Play will be in 2-balls for 9 holes at 10 minute intervals and limited to individuals playing on their own, or Two-balls comprising of individuals from the same or different households.
These rules along with social distancing must be strictly adhered to at all times, the course will be monitored continuously. We must ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone at the Golf Centre, members, guests and staff.
We are expecting very high demand over the coming days for tee times when we open from Wednesday morning. To begin with we are limiting golf to playing 9 holes only, and just members will be able to play for the first 3 days after opening to ensure that there are enough times for everyone. Tee times will be available on both the 1st and 10th tees, but cannot both be booked on the same day. We will monitor this closely over the coming weeks and return to 18 holes when there is capacity.
Members will be able to book 5 days in advance in the short term, and up to 4 times in any 7 day period. We hope to extend this sometime in the summer. Guest and Visitor bookings will also be allowed from Friday 15th May, and will be allowed 2 days in advance.
There will be no clubhouse facilities currently, changing rooms and toilets remain closed.
Please register at the starters hut 5 minutes before your tee time, and do not arrive at the Golf Centre more than 15 minutes beforehand.
A small number of snacks and drinks will be available from the starters hut. If you have your clubs in the locker room please get in touch and we can arrange entry for you to get them.
We are awaiting guidance on whether we can open the driving range or not and will update on this when we get more information, it will remain closed for now. We will post updates as soon as we have more information.
The Short Par 3 course will also open on Wednesday to all golfers, bookings can be made by calling us on 01604 843939 from Wednesday morning.
Look forward to seeing you soon.
