SOCIETY INFORMATION FROM APRIL 2004
BRAMPTON HEATH golf course is set in undulating heathland and is arguably the driest in the region making conditions ideal for winter golf as well as the rest of the year. Buggies and trolleys are allowed all year round. In summer, the free draining soil turns the course into a natural ‘inland links’, providing a different challenge each time you play.The 9 hole Short Course staged qualifiers for the British PGA Short Course Championships in 1999, 2001 and 2003. This excellent facility is now used by all the County elite squads. HEAD PROFESSIONAL – RICHARD HUDSON Our Head Professional can offer the following:- Teaching Clinic Video Analysis Corporate Team Building based around golfing skills (Prices can be obtained via the Society booking office and is dependent on numbers). TEES Societies can play from white or yellow tees although we do recommend that white tees should only be selected by groups of experienced golfers. BUGGIES Buggies are available for hire at a cost of £12 per round or £19 for the day. The individual hirer will be responsible for payment. NUMBERS Minimum of 16. (Maximum of 36 at weekends only).
TERMS All bookings are provisional and will be held for 14 days only. A completed booking form with an accompanying £100 deposit must be received within this timescale otherwise bookings will be released to other societies.Final numbers and payment in full must be received a minimum of seven days prior to the society day. Changes after this date will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of the society organiser to make sure that they have collected all payments due prior to the seven day period. Players must arrive in plenty of time in order to prepare for their tee off time. Slow play is not tolerated. 4 hours is the expected duration for 18 holes at Brampton Heath Golf Centre. Course Marshals may be in operation and all golfers are expected to respond to instruction if their pace of play is not up to the required standard.A dress code is in operation. Guests not properly dressed will not be allowed to play. Shirts must have a collar and sleeves. Jeans and tracksuit bottoms are not allowed. Please ensure that your group is aware of this, as this will avoid disappointment on the day. Spikes are permitted throughout the ground floor of the Clubhouse, but strictly prohibited upstairs (this includes soft spikes). MEALS A two or three carvery meal will be available and your guests can choose their meal on the day.

Numbers must be for a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 36. If numbers fall below 16 then your society will still be required to pay for 20 green fees but meals will be calculated on a per head basis. BAD WEATHER POLICY In the event of the course becoming unplayable, the management reserve the right to make decisions regarding refunds/re-bookings etc on the day.
